Our clients love what they do!

When Ian and Greg opened V2 I didn’t hesitate to join the gym. The professionalism and knowledge both Ian and Greg demonstrate is second to none, always bringing the most up to date thinking into the workouts. They find out about you and your lifestyle and then design a programme to suit you, your abilities and which reflects what you want to achieve. Their advice is a total package not only covering exercise and fitness but also dietary advice. Of course results don’t happen overnight and YOU have to put the effort in but they continually support you whilst you are training offering plenty of encouragement and advice. Just when you think you have finally cracked something you suddenly find another muscle you didn’t know you had for them to exhaust

It really is great fun. The atmosphere at the gym is great with everyone getting to know each other. Most importantly I have never been fitter and feel great, I have tried new exercises, boxing, cycling and even skiing. These are things I wouldn’t have done before but feel able to as a direct result of my improved fitness

I was initially drawn to the free trial period offered by Ian and Greg, and apart from having nothing to lose, I quickly realised that these guys are very approachable and professional. One of my main reasons for cancelling with my previous gym was not getting answers to questions or help when needed; the staff only seemed interested in “the ones who could already do it”. I asked as many questions as possible in that week and received more answers than I’d had in years of using other gyms. The Vital2 challenge is very addictive and provides an incentive to try exercises you might never usually do. I would recommend Vital2 to anyone who is serious about gym membership

My name is Mary and I am 77 years old. I suffer from a chronic respiratory illness called c.o.p.d. I was introduced to the use of exercise through my g.p./hospital. I found it difficult to sustain my interest and enthusiasm when exercising alone, even though I had had some benefit from the exercise. I decided that I must explore other alternatives if I was to help myself

I heard about Greg and Ian at V2 via my daughter and decided to contact the gym and see what response I got

After a chat on the phone I made arrangements to visit V2 and initially talked to Greg. I showed him all the exercises which were recommended by the doctors and plucked up the courage to tell him how old I was!! (Not your classic candidate for a personal trainer).

I liked the look of the set-up. I had been to gyms where the music blared, the leotards were smart and the machines buzzed! But no help in sight! I refer to V2 as a ‘bijou gym’ and have found it a little jewel of a place.

I had several one to one sessions and then it was decided that I was ready to ‘go solo’. That was 5 months ago. Before I began this routine I had difficulty walking upstairs, doing anything active for more than short spells. I became breathless with very little activity and found myself looking for excuses not to do things.

I now don’t even think about going upstairs. I can do my 45 minutes in the gym, go to the supermarket and do a large shop and still have the energy to enjoy social activities – all on the same day! The very best result of all is that 6 months ago my c.o.p.d. was classed as ‘moderate’ and I went for a recent check up and I have improved my condition to ‘mild’. The nurse who does my check-ups by the way is delighted at the outcome.

Most of all – my thanks go to Greg and Ian for their very professional response to my request and for their help whenever I need it.
